Adrian Dionisio and I have been best friends since high school, when we first met studying film at Orange County School of the Arts. What started as a friendship built around cameras, creativity, and storytelling has grown into nearly a decade of working together, traveling together, and constantly chasing the next adventure. Over the years, we have taken on countless creative projects, explored new places, and built the kind of trust that only comes from spending that much time side by side.

At this point, Adrian and I have become each other’s designated adventure buddy. Whether we are hiking a trail, planning a shoot, getting lost somewhere new, or figuring things out as we go, we have always shared the same excitement for exploration and the same instinct to document the journey. Our friendship has shaped the way we see the world, and our shared background in film has given us a way to turn those experiences into stories.

Trail x Error grew naturally out of that bond. It is not just a project about travel or national parks, but an extension of the adventures we have already been taking together for years. Through it, we hope to explore our relationship with nature, the importance of preserving wild places, and the stories that can only be found by getting outside and experiencing them firsthand.

One day, we hope to become National Geographic photographers, and we see Trail x Error as a meaningful step toward that dream. By combining our love for adventure, our years of friendship, and our passion for visual storytelling, we want to use this project to grow as filmmakers and photographers while sharing the beauty, history, and hidden gems of the national parks.
